Lord Jesus, we have been taught not to fear, but to trust you in all things. Lord, we trust you to help our brothers and sisters who are being so horribly abused at the hands of satan. It is as though the gates of hell have opened up against them, and indeed, they have. But, Lord Jesus, you said that the gates of hell would not prevail against your church, and we know it will not. Protect, please, we pray, our brothers, sisters and their little children who are suffering so cruelly. We cannot even begin to truly imagine what they are going through, it is almost beyond comprehension. Keep them, Lord, as you promised in peace and let them be abundantly aware of your presence. Let them know that you are with them, you are in them, you are for them. We have something, oh Lord, that the world does not have. We have your promises. You are the living Word of God. You did not promise us freedom from persecution, Lord, but you did promise us freedom from fear if we will embrace your promises. We pray for both of these things for our family suffering around the world, oh, Lord Jesus — freedom from fear, freedom from what satan is now throwing at those who name Your Name. You allow us to work with you in your work, Most High, by praying for those who hurt. I lift my voice here and now to pray for all Christians around the world, to pray also for your people the Jews who are under duress, and for your safety for all those around the world who are Yours. Lord...help them, help us...bring this nation back to you, oh Lord! And Lord, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I pray these things in the most powerful name of Jesus — amen.
