To: null and void

The woman of Revelation isn’t Mary, but Israel. Rev 12:13 (NIV), “When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child”. Jesus was the one that was pursued not his parents. If it had been parents Herod would have killed parents, but he didn’t he only killed the male babies. Matt 2:16 (NIV), “When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi”.

Still, the image the children viewed does map over quite well to Rev 12:13.

Perhaps they saw Israel personified?
