Now we have out answer. Put them all on a plane and drop them all off at Vatican City. The pope can’t turn them away, and he must provide for them all. Problem solved.

My suggestion too. What the Pope says is laughable, and the Vatican would never allow it in reality. If any country attempted to do the things the Pope advocates it would be the very basketcase "immigrants" flee from. Just look at the country he came from (Argentina) - a populist left, endlessly unstable nation that defaults on debt every decade or so because they listen to people like the Pope who whines and cries every time any attempt is made to cut social welfare programs.

I do believe the Pope means well. I also think he seems humble and doesn't personally need or want extravagance, but there are lots of well meaning leftists in the world and their ideas, policies and worldview are incredibly destructive and always lead to ruin. The world would be much better off if this Pope stayed away from politics, economic issues, any discussion of immigration, etc.
