Attributing motives to another poster is "making it personal." That is what you did in the removed post. It is also what you did in your post to me, i.e. attributing to me the motive of anti-Catholicism. That accusation, by the way, is blatantly false.

ad hominems are not tolerable in religious debate at all.

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal. Discuss the message, not the messenger.

Also, when you mention another poster, be sure to ping him or her.

No, they were removed after being up for quite a while because of a petty FReeper. If mine were removed then there are many others that must be removed as well. It is very obvious to whom you are catering.
