I have heard, through the preaching over the years that the Apostolic TRADITION has it that the disciples of Jesus did have women along. They probably did most of the things women do.
And SOME of the 72 disciples Jesus sent out had to have left hearth and home.

However, if you don't believe in Apostolic Tradition and only Scripture, then I'm wasting my time.

The CATHOLIC CHURCH did collect and collate the New Testament. THEY decided which letters and "books" were to compiled as the New Testament. They had a large task, weaning out the good, bad, useful, unsure, etc.

Just imagine WHAT they DIDN'T include.

German priest and theologian Father Martin Luther was excommunicated from the Catholic Church on January 3, 1521, when Pope Leo X issues the papal bull Decet Romanum Pontificem.
And HE, the first Protestant sure didn't compile the New Testament. He took the word of the Catholic Church as to what was Scripture.

But, as Protestants, you are certainly free to believe in whatever parts of the entire Catholic tradition that you want. There are some 41,000 different Protestant denominations so you do have many choices.

From Wikipedia: Note: This is not a complete list, but aims to provide a comprehensible overview of the diversity among denominations of Christianity. As there are reported to be approximately 41,000 Christian denominations (figure includes overlap between countries),many of which cannot be verified to be significant, only those denominations with Wikipedia articles will be listed in order to ensure that all entries on this list are notable and verifiable.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. God used Balham’s donkey and Judas also so being used by God doesn't make one so sanctified.

Why? Isn't Scripture good enough?

Or can't you provide the support from it alone?

Just imagine WHAT they DIDN'T include.

Who cares what they didn't include? If God didn't see fit to include it in Scripture, then it's not something to make an issue of later.

Making up stuff and then claiming it's truth is no way to decide what truth is. Just because Scripture doesn't say that something didn't happen, doesn't give anyone the right to make it up and claim that it did.

Way to head into error.

41,000 now?

Is that the latest number du jour?

No he didn't...A little actual research would be useful for you...You wouldn't have to keep posting false statements...
