The scary part for them is that there is no fear of God and even though they deny Him they can never remove the deep, inner guilt by illogic reasonings and attempted behavioral justifications.
To wind up in eternal hell is the worst nightmare of reality that exists. Fear God and accept the Saviour Jesus Christ as the free gift of salvation. Hell is overrated and too damn hot.

If there is no God, man only has to answer to himself for his deeds. If our laws about right or wrong don't come from God, who do they come from? I might think rape and murder are evil crimes but John Wayne Gacy would probably disagree. I know I wouldn't want to live in a world where man is considered the highest authority.
