I don't think you'll find anyone who would disagree with that. Unfortunately there are those here who view this as an exclusively "Catholic" problem because they have theological differences with The Church and in a cynical and unchristian fashion use the sins of others to score what they think are religious points. "See! See! What did I tell you," etc. Ad nauseum.
If the church hierarchy/organization took part in covering up the abuse then they should be culpable. Same with other churches and schools, IMO. It doesn’t usually work out that way, of course.
Spot on. The chance of a government school teacher raping a student is multiples higher than a priest. This is another front in the secular war on Christians.
