Were the OT Jewish feast days and sacrifices patterned after pre-Israelite pagan customs paying homage to those deities? I don't think so. Somebody needs to put down the Hislop.
My girlfriend made pozole for me tonight. Which apparently is some sort of pre-Columbian dish used in Aztec rituals. All I know is it tastes good. Am I serving and worshiping Quetzalcoatl by partaking of this dish?
Ultimately this issue is a solution in search of a problem. And it doesn't become a problem until an individual fails to recognize that there is a visible Church, empowered by Christ through the Holy Spirit to address such things. Like santcifying the previously pagan for the Greater Glory of the the One True God!
