The day of Pentecost came on Sunday, the first day of the week, it was not a day of rest in fact it was just the opposite of rest it was a new beginning.
How any one can equate that with the Sabbath is beyond my understanding.
The new beginning on the day of Pentecost can be equated with the first day of creation, but it can not be equated with the seventh day which is the day of rest.
The new beginning at Pentecost fulfills the new covenant foretold in Jeremiah 31:31-33, and is explained in Hebrews.
Replacing or changing the day of the Sabbath would be no different than doing the same thing to Pentecost, they are two different events.
You really don’t get what I’m saying. Either that or you’re purposely not getting it. I noticed that you avoided my other question about Christ’s fulfillment of the Law. Did God have to re-do things when Christ fulfilled the Old Law? Or do you not believe that He fulfilled the Old Law?
