I'm posting this because I miss Mr. Hitchens, despite all that he got so very wrong, and because it is most interesting.

I do, too. He was wrong on the TEA Party and Sarah but, had he lived, I think he might have come around on those, too.

I once heard Hitchens remark during the Clinton Administration that he regretted his anti-Star Wars position. Really! He did have a habit of changing his mind. He was ridiculously negative about Sarah Palin. I remember being floored when he said that he was disgusted with her “swiveling hips.” Typical British man's fear of sexually attractive women, lol. But who knows? He may have come around...
