(That's just it, Verga! When you live in the realm of pure spiritual abstractions, as some, you don't even have a checkbook! You don't have a modern-day calendar! You don't a digital cell-phone calendar! You don't call up your friend or relative and say, "Hey, we're arriving on Thursday" -- because, by god, who would dare honor the pagan god "Thor" and his "day" by actually referencing "Thor's day" out loud?)
The only thing I can think of is that it takes you a long while to explain what day of the week or month things happen on.

New moons and Sabbaths and feasts are not spiritual abstracts... They are His set times and appointed times given to Israel to separate them from the rest of the world and to point to their King and Coming Kingdom.... and fulfilled by the Messiah of Israel in perfect fashion...
I don’t consider that abstract... especially when we read the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,, but Torah is replaced by Tammuz...
Feel free to work and worship according to the pope’s timekeeping, using his premises for times and laws.. that certainly is one yoke that is a choice..
The world’s system allows all religions their days and sabbaths and even secular humanists and atheists can have their own holy days...
A calendar that unites the world...
Daniel 7:25 talks about it happening and the first reformers saw it too...
Thankfully, I am journeying out of this world and drawing closer to Him by His amazing Grace... and the world and its systems are not my friend like they used to be..
But scripture warns us about playing footsy with the world..
James 4:4 “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
