Exactly. It’s because their god is not the God of the Holy Bible but is in fact the government instead.
Many are conditioned to think the state actually defines marriage. You have to wonder if there are any limits to what groups like these particular pseudo-Presbyterians will actually accept, as long as the state does too. I mean anything is possible, to the state it’s just whatever judges, pols or the voting majority think it can be at any one time.
