To: Salvation
I'm well aware that my understanding of tradition and that of your religious institution are at variance, Salvation. There is a good five centuries worth of disagreement on this topic. Scripture is an anchor of truth, unchanging, because God's truth does not change. Therefore, if a new tradition arises, it's to be tested with scripture to see if such a belief is supported. If not, then it's not Christian. That's what Paul meant about standing firm and holding fast to the traditions taught by word and letter. Those words and letters are scripture. Stand firm and hold fast to scripture. To do otherwise is to fall prey to later innovations and unscriptural beliefs.

none of their articles just states what they believe positively without hammering on non-catholics.
