Protestants place more emphasis on the "man-made" aspects of the Church than most Catholics. I think it stems from a deep indwelling of the secular within the protestant framework. the example I used is called an analogy. I was using it to make a point that Jesus would not allow Satan to pray in Heaven. So why would the "vicar of Christ" pray with the enemy?
But to your question. Yes...I am equating islam with Satan. Jesus said you're either with me or against me. If you're not aligned with Jesus you are aligned with Satan by default. There isn't any middle ground.
