How can you speak with such authority about the voting habits of such a huge group?
I think you’re just making it up as you go along.
We know how groups vote, the democrats won the Protestant vote by narrow margins in 1932 and 1936, and won it again, and for the final time, in 1964.
The republicans have only won the Catholic vote 4 or 5 times, depending on the source. FDR for instance was beloved by Catholics winning their vote by 85%, 81% 73% and again 73% in 1944.
