You and I have been around this Rock before.

You can play your game about Christ referring to himself in the 3rd person and still be proven WRONG.

What is the meaning then, as Christ continues:

“I will give your the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

You make my point about taking verses out of context. Recall that Christ had been asking the disciples who He was and Peter answered that He was the Christ.

It was upon this confession, that Christ was the Son of the Living God, that Jesus would build His church upon.

Not a falliable man as in Peter.
