**For starters it is unscriptural - it fails its own test.**

There is far more Scripture supporting Sola Scriptura than Mary worship and the entire Roman scheme.

First, the Church does not make the mistake of teaching sola scriptura; so that point is a non sequitur.

Secondly, again, sola scriptura fails its own test. Scripture does not support the doctrine that scripture alone is the sole - sola - rule or guide for doctrine, etc.

Not to mention it is illogical, impossible in practice and doesn’t work.

Other than that, it’s a really good doctrine.

:)

Catholicism is the one that implodes under it's faulty man made traditions.

Come to Lake Geneva where the water is cool and refreshing. Not muddy and turbulent like the Tiber.

I see assertions and opinions here. No rebuttal arguments though.

Why isn’t Calvinism a “faulty man made tradition”?

Or, more fundamentally: Why isn’t Sola Scriptura a “faulty man made tradition”?

Editors or authors? Thomas Aquinas is a great resource because he brings in the wisdom and perspectives of the Early Church Fathers.
