Likewise, as the kingship of ancient Israel is the precursor to the kingship of Christ, the gebirah (who was the mother of the king) of ancient Israel is the precursor of Mary. Recall Solomon's words to his mother in 1 Kings 2:20, "Make your request, Mother, for I will not refuse you."

Also recall Mary's intercession at the wedding at Cana.

The crowned woman is Revelations, clothed with the sun, is thought to be Mary by the Church as well.
