The Catholic church has not been " losing many followers world wide". Only in the Western nations where we are losing touch with God. Overall, the Catholic church has made gains.

This doesn’t sound like much of a distinction.

At the end of the day, the fact remains that the Roman church has a hole in the bottom of its bucket.

Tens of millions have left. Millions in Brazil. As this article confirms, great numbers of hispanics. Some to other churches (good) and others to nothing (bad).

Of those who remain and are counted as members, a great many rarely or never attend.

I wish better for every church, including Rome’s denomination. Not just in numbers, obviously, but in changed lives and salvation.
