My priest was bored on a long flight back from somewhere and did a complete search of the Bible for both heaven and all the references for hell.
Amazing results.
A lot of these people who “come back” and tell us how great heaven is aren’t Christians.
And it changes their life forever. Many of them convert to Christianity.
As I said, where can you find any mention of hell in the “Old” Testament? You cannot because it does not exist. It is made up in order to scare people. So is the Christian view of Satan.
I do not care what Jesus said as he plays no part in Judaism. He also speaks out of both sides of his mouth.
I do not care because the Christian bible is a blatant perversion of God’s Word. Anything that alters the Torah in any way is false and unacceptable.
The Jewish version of ‘hell’ and punishment in the afterlife is temporary. It is a cleansing of the soul akin to Catholicism’s Purgatory.
There is no hellfire in which non-Christians burn.
