Is not what you have just posted an extremely long copy/past of information for, in regards to nothing more than imposition of Hebrew terminology amid re-translation of extant texts -- which texts are themselves found only extant in language other than Hebrew?

There is no actual source in your brayings concerning where to find the NT, in Hebrew, other than by way of fairly recent efforts to insert Hebrew terms and words, expressed in English language alphabet form.

Next time, when posting a series hugh GiGANTO copy/paste as some form of argumentation, or even general information -- could you take the time to include a live link -- so it can be determined where more precisely the information is coming from (to better enable a person to be considering the source even while they would be going thru the information itself).

There are presently 28 separate Hebrew MS of Matthew, most of which contain cogent statements that conform to the culture of first century Jerusalem, and which also agree with the Siriac Aramaic NT, which pre-dates any existing Greek translation MS.

The study that I posted focuses on the plethora of obvious errors in the Greek MS and all codices derived therefrom.

The simple and obvious fact is that the Greek based texts are the strongest evidence there is against their own authenticity. None of the existing Shemetic texts contain those errors, thus testifying to a far greater reliability.

Unfortunately no large publishing house wishes to bring existing Hebrew nor Aramaic Ms to the public, so one has to be content to search university archives to find them. Certain of the Hebrew Matthew copies have been published in limited quantities, but are hard to obtain.

As is noted in the study that I posted, the “Hebrew Roots” Bible has the English translation of an Aramaic version of the NT, but not all of it has an early pedigree, due to the limitations of the Syriac Canon.
