Well, that didn't take long. As my colleague Edward Malnick reports, the first gay Church of England priest a canon, no less today married his boyfriend. Canon Jeremy Pemberton, 58, a divorced hospital chaplain and father of five, wed his long-term partner Laurence Cunnington, 51. We're not told where, but obviously it wasn't in an C of E church. That's against the law. But they may well be able to have their marriage blessed in church because that's only "against the rules" as opposed to illegal.
Campaigners predicted that Canon Pemberton would be the first of many. I think they're right. After all, it's not as if Mr Pemberton's boss, the Bishop of Lincoln, Christopher Lowson, is handing him over to the Inquisition. Over at the Mail, my old friend Jonathan Petre reports that "Bishop Lowson confirmed he had told Canon Pemberton of the House of Bishops statement [telling gay priests not to marry] but would not say if he was planning disciplinary action".
I'm no expert on Anglican canon law, but I'd guess that the punishment facing Mr Pemberton is the withdrawal of his licence to officiate at services (he doesn't have a parish). Technically he could be defrocked, but that would involve a messy legal process
by which time other priests will have tied the knot. The Rev Andrew Cain, for example, who was the first clergyman to declare his intention to marry, and who explained why in our Telegram podcast (click here).

You got that right!
One of the reasons that we’re welcoming Anglican priests to Roman Catholicism.
But he was “born” homosexual? What a joke. He’s a pervert and nothing else. Next he will “marry” an inflatable doll.
It’s all about sex, sex, sex with these perverts. No woman around, a man will do.
But wait, I thought they said they were born homosexual.
I didn’t read your post until I posted mine.
Great minds think alike. :-)

According to Canon Dudley, who officiated:
"Amazing flowers, fabulous music, a ceremony both solemn and oddly homely, familiar words reordered and reconfigured, carrying new meanings.
"Nothing jarred, nothing felt even vaguely inappropriate. New and untried - but not wrong."
why do all these “gay” priests have five kids? (so does that American “gay” bishop).
One kid by a gay man, fine, but five kids implies he is bisexual. And not very thoughtful about his wife either, since he gave her five kids and then dumped her.
The first church of Sodom.
What manner of reasoning is that? Churches are not more clones than Americans are, but if it were not for conservative one's there would be much less opposition to the homosexual agenda.
It was not atheists but born again/ evangelicals who voted 79% against Obama, and oppose homosexual marriage and the same percentage affirm that homosexual behavior is sinful. - http://www.pewforum.org/Politics-and-Elections/How-the-Faithful-Voted-2012-Preliminary-Exit-Poll-Analysis.aspx; http://www.christianpost.com/article/20080606/survey-americans-divided-on-homosexuality-as-sin.htm
In a 2010 LifeWay Research survey 77 percent of American Protestant pastors (57% of mainline versus 87% evangelical) strongly disagree with same-sex marriage, with 6% percent somewhat disagreeing, and 5% being somewhat in agreement and 10 percent strongly agreeing. (5% of evangelical).

However, nearly four in 10 younger priests in 2002 described themselves as conservative, and were more likely to regard as "always a sin" such acts as premarital sex, abortion, artificial birth control, homosexual relations, etc., and three-fourths said they were more religiously orthodox than their older counterparts. The survey also found that 80% of Roman Catholic priests referred to themselves as mostly heterosexual in orientation, with 67% being exclusively heterosexual, 8% leaning toward heterosexual, 5% completely in the middle, and 6% leaning toward homosexual and 9% saying they are homosexual, for a combined figure of 15% on the homosexual class. Among younger priests (those ordained for 20 years or less) the figure was 23%. ^
One-third of surveyed priests said they do not waver from their vow of celibacy, while 47% described celibacy as an ongoing journey and 14% said they do not always succeed in following it. 2% said celibacy is not relevant to their priesthood and they do not observe it. not celibate. ^

“And not very thoughtful about his wife either, since he gave her five kids and then dumped her”
These are the degenerate sexual predators that caused the AIDs crisis all over the United States. “Happy” married men, mostly business men, going down to South America and having anal sex with their “boyfriends”, coming back to the states and having regular sex with their wives. Transmitting AIDs to her. If not for these sodomite predators, all the thousands of those men and women in the United States that died from AIDs would still be with us.
You can spout all your Catholic Church-bashing statistics from liberal polls all you want but the Catholic Church will never allow openly homosexual priests into their ranks. They will have to go apply for membership as “pastors” at one of the hundreds of protestant faiths that could care less if a man “marries” another man, or a woman “marries” another woman.
The Catholic Church stands for the truth about marriage and homosexuality.
The history on how aids got into the rest of the world is well documented. In the 50’s, right after WW2, there were many HOMOSEXUALS and BI-SEXUALs that joined the mercenaries. Most of them were from Europe and some from the USA. The AIDS virus did come from AFRICA. Some say from monkeys??? while others say from something else. Whatever the case, at the end of all those “AFRICAN WARS OF LIBERATION”, those that survived came back to their respective countries, carrying the virus with them. It takes 3 to 5 years before they come down with “AIDS” or the nicer word “HIV”. The next “VICTIMS”??? were the intravenous drug users. Then it was transferred to the “BLOOD BANKS”. People were selling their blood to the “BLOOD BANKS”. That’s why it took over 20 years before it became “PANDEMIC” and infected the rest of the population. Now, instead of AIDS being just a “HOMOSEXUAL DISEASE”, it has spread to the rest of the world.
The way it was ALSO spread in the United States is how I represented it. One homosexual we will call John, was an airline stewart, a notorious homosexual. He would fly all over the world having sex with men and women, then come back to the states and have sex with anyone he could jump in the bed with. He came down with AIDs, knew he was a carrier and was told he would infect others. He didn’t care. It is estimated that this creep alone infected thousands; hell probably millions, because each and every person he infected, if they were like him, infected someone also. The vast majority of homosexuals are predators.
You can spout all the defend-Rome-at-any-cost-to-credibility propaganda all you want, and deny the majority of RCs as being members, but the FACT is that the Catholic Church believes in allowing those who support, even openly, homosexuals to be included in her ranks, including priests.
They do not have to go and apply for membership as pastors or as members at a few protestant faiths that may care less than others if a man marries another man, or a woman marries another woman, these usually being those which are closer to Rome than others -
But such are very unlikely to be in evangelical ranks, as that that tribe is far more opposed to homosexual relations than Rome is, faith being judged by actions and fruit, as Scripture says it is. (Mt. 7:20; Ja. 2:18)
Read the Catechiam of the Catholic Church. How many times have you posted the same statistics. You think if you post them enough times the Catholic Church will start allowing openly homosexual men to become priests and allow abortion on demand, and allow women in the clergy. NONE of these WILL EVER HAPPEN in the Catholic Church. The Church Church, unlike almost all protestant faiths, does not base it’s doctrine on a show of hands or the prevailing culture of the day. It bases his doctrine on the Bible. Not going to change, no matter how much you spout off about how many so-called “Catholics” believe in immorality. The VERY REASON that so many Anglicans are converting to Catholicism is because their faith has caved into the sodomite agenda. The Catholic Church NEVER WILL.
