I am very familiar with Calvary Chapels and have been to his church several times over the years for conferences and events...
Bob Coy is a wonderful pastor, great teacher and leader...
So sad the enemy managed to deceive him and resulted in a moral failings
I know he will be back stronger than ever and continue to be the great pastor and leader that he was...
The enemy? No, Coy made the choice all by himself.
Indeed. I live down here and CC is a very positive influence in the community.
Having seen "Pastor Bob" preach, both on TV and at the chapel itself, I must say that this is a major blow to the congregation, and its ministry.
I find it hard to fathom how someone in such an important leadership position would fall to such a "routine" temptation.
It serves to remind us that ALL have sinned; even the most judgmental voices on this forum, and everywhere else, fail the Lord, and their brethren, on a daily basis.
The particulars of each sin are relatively unimportant, since ALL of us fail every single day. For me, it creates a sense of proper humility.
