"...We need to roll back the deportation mania thats taken place in the last couple of years. We need to rethink these detentions centers that are costly, unnecessary, and very often penalize people who are not criminals. We need to do something about quotas, making it easier for people to come. There are segments of our economy that depend on immigrant labor, and that should be recognized in the law rather than forcing people to enter illegally, which often means theyre exploited and in competition with American laborers."
Cardinal O'Malley clearly disapproves of illegals having to compete with American laborers. Is anyone else as offended by this outrageous statement as I am? His socialist viewpoint directly contradicts Church teaching. Should Americans simply get out of the way so the illegals won't have to put up with the inconvenience of having to compete with American workers? On the subject of quotas, the Hispanics aren't the only ones who want to come here. The Cardinal is a one trick pony who only seems to care about one group. Perhaps HE is the xenophobe (a term he has used repeatedly in reference to those who oppose amnesty).
How about the Cardinal offering a Mass for the victims of illegal aliens in his own diocese (those killed by drunk drivers and other criminals). How about offering a Mass for those whose lives have been destroyed by drugs, courtesy of cartels from his favorite countries)?
From the article — what a picture!
The liturgy featured an instantly iconic visual of OMalley and Bishop Gerald Kicanas of Tucson distributing communion to outstretched hands from the Mexican side of the border through slats in a 20-foot-high security fence.
The USA doesn’t need any more immigrants. All immigrants are bad . they vote democrat. illegal and legal immigrants are mostly 3rd world poor and have been the downfall of this country
there are 330 million people in the USA . enough. immigrants are not Americans and dont share our values.immigrants suck.the last thing the USA needs is more immigrants . If i were president i would literally deport all non Americans and many democrats like Pelosi
democrats imported 80 milion 3rd world immigrants since their 1965 immigration act , legal and illegals to turn the USA into a socialist 3rd world hell hole. they are getting closer to their goal and the amnesty bill would do it
If you made $100,000 per year after taxes then you could buy anything you could ever need in the free market because someone would produce it for money( look at the millions of products for sale on Google , internet , ebay , amazon,Walmart, Dollar Tree etc etc). So we don’t need government for ANYTHING. private industry created a whole city DISNEY WORLD in Florida. So democrats create fake crisis like global warming,no health insurance crisis to justify the very existence of government and the continued growth of government(socialism)
More from the story —
They met a Honduran woman whod fled domestic violence at home only to be kidnapped by a criminal gang, and who said shed spent several weeks on the streets in Mexico City surviving on scraps of taco shells and cast-off bottles of juice. They met a Mexican woman whose teenage son was shot to death by US Border Patrol agents, and who traveled to Washington, D.C., to stand outside the White House hoping someone might give her an explanation. (For the record, none came.) They heard from a weeping 13-year-old Mexican girl, whose sister has been in detention for six months with no sense of when she might be released.
With the exception of reproductive matters, the Catholic Church’s position on social issues is the same as the most liberal part of the Democratic Party. Has been for as long as I can remember. Gun control - all for it. Wealth redictribution - cover it with a lot of mealy mouthed blather, but basically all for it. Illegal immigration - all for it.
Politicizing the Eucharist.
Yeah..........
BUTTTTT..........
It’ll be DEATH FOR THE U, S, of A!!!
And that’s what they WANT!
Borders are a form of hatred.
The Bishop is advocating and excusing crime. What a disgrace.
Politicizing the Eucharist to save innocent babies: BAD
.
Politicizing the Eucharist to erase the borders: GOOD.
Did you forget the sarcasm tag??
Isn’t it so special that Mexico has such perfect immigration laws? Why give this bunch their demands and we can be just like Mexico. Think of all the saints in the making.

I figure people who are keep up with the news will appreciate the sarcasm without the tag, and those who don't will post amusing replies.
Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico daily demonstrate their act of love as they love to break our border laws because they know that politicians in both political parties will NOT insist that they laws they pass will be enforced.
The only Border Reform that needs to be done is to strictly enforce existing US Federal Border Laws, PERIOD.
Immigrants vote 70% pro-abortion.
It’s no accident that these bishops campaigning for open borders, amnesty, and a path-to-citizenship are bishops who have given the pro-life movement the back of their hand for years.
Leftist bishops have been claiming the label “pro-life” for their anything-but-abortion causes for years, as well.
When is a bishop going to break the Mafia-like code of silence and denounce the homosexual, atheist, Communist bishops? You can tell who they are. They took the Soviet line throughout the Cold War. They were “cheerleaders” for Obamacare. They protect unchaste priests. They insist on Communion for pro-aborts. They applaud athletes for “coming out.” They campaign to import pro-abortion voters.
Moral relativism on parade. Cardinal O'Malley, the ringleader of this event, clearly has no qualms about equating his pet issue (advocacy for illegals) with the abortion holocaust. If he honestly believes these two issues are on a par, then he definitely has some moral screws loose, and the same can be said for the other clerics who joined him for this disgraceful PR event.
