To Cook or to Roast—That is the Question -- G-d's Passover Menu

Why are we commanded to roast the Passover sacrifice over fire and not cook it in any other way? G-d loves a barbecue?!
This class explores the simple, literal explanations and the profound mystical teachings behind this commandment. So, if you have 52 minutes of clean-up and dishes to do, download or stream and enjoy. (IMHO it's the best way to do chores.)
TOPICS: Apologetics; History; Judaism; Theology
KEYWORDS: passover; roast; soulfood
For these classes on The Yeshiva.net, below the media window are .pdf files in English and Hebrew to follow along. If you enjoy learning the exact translation of the source texts and scripture, they are great.
Don't be scared off by the interspersed Hebrew or Yiddish translation-- Rabbi Jacobson translates everything. Mind the Brooklyn accent though... :)

That's it... I'm celebrating Passover and having "roasted" lamb this year.
Thanks for posting!
