Where else? In Argentina, ¡naturalmente!
From La Voz:
Daughter of two mothers will be baptized in the Cathedral Next Saturday, April 5, Umma Azul will be baptized in the Cathedral [of Córdoba, Province of Córdoba, Argentina] and president Cristina Fernández [de Kirchner] could be the godmother.
She is the daughter of Karina Villarroel and Soledad Ortiz, the two Cordoba women who contracted matrimony a little over a year ago, and regarding whom a controversy came about due to the request for leave [for matrimonial reasons] in the Provincial Police by the first one. [The civil "marriage" of same-sex couples has been legal in Argentina since 2010.] ... Karina and Soledad had to demand the authorization of the Archdiocese. "I had an audience with Archbishop Carlos Ñáñez so that he would give the order, and he confirmed to me that there will be no problem in the Cathedral," she explained. [The Cathedral] Parish priest Carlos Varas will preside at er the ceremony

It figures.
If the child was dying, would the rules be the same? or can a child get baptized when dying without regard to the sins of the parents?
“Would any church deny baptism to a child because of the sin of the parents?”
The Catholic Church allowed Madonna Ciccone’s daughter Lordes to be baptized back in the 90’s siting it’s not about the sin (or in this case sins) of the parents.
that kid is So-o-o-o-o fotunate that those two are not his real parents!!!!
I just noticed this: the poor child will have one godfather and two godmothers:
>>...the baptism of Umma Azul will take place, with a godfather who is a friend of the family and two godmothers, the President and a friend.<<
I have news for you: “Rome” rarely thinks about protestants.
Thanks very much. Very kind of you to dig that old photo up. I remember loving the Pope on that state visit, lol!
“Would any church deny baptism to a child because of the sin of the parents?”
Baptists would wait until the child could give a profession of faith to include repenting of its own sins. If the child wanted to accept ‘two mommies’ as a real marriage under God, then it would not be baptized.
Well, protesters around here (who hold to the biblical Gospel) think about Rome often. The error-filled doctrines promulgated by that broken Romish cult have captured the attention of many sheeple and we want to present the truth of the Scriptures. Nevertheless, it is God who will open the eyes of the RCs...or He will leave them to Rome's darkness.
Take it up with a RC priest if yours was a honest question. Not my denomination.
Love that photo! But why is that man smiling?
