It is absolutely appalling and reprehensible.
There is no wrong that the Catholic church can commit that some Catholics will not defend.
And then the Catholics beg people to come back and 8cross the Tiber*.
Unbelievable.
Those who can see clearly can see that there's a world of difference between what Catholic church *official* policy is and what is actually practiced in the real world at the grass roots level. The disconnect is tremendous and FRoman Catholics only end up trying to defend an ideal that does not exist.
In doing so, they show their unwillingness to admit the truth about the corruption and error in their church, which does not practice what it preaches.
Hypocrisy abounds within Catholicism.
It's too bad that Catholics don't spend more time trying to fix their own problems than attacking those who point them out as *haters* and *anti-Catholic bashers*.
If they cleaned house, there would be nothing left for others to point out their hypocrisy.
Praise God that you were delivered from that lifestyle and you have found God. He is good.
It’s an indication of where they think their salvation comes from. They are petrified that they have put their faith in the wrong place. Those who put their faith in Christ alone have no compunction of condemning wrong doing within an organization. And if that organization has systemic wrong doing will readily leave that organization lest they get caught up in the evil.
It’s going to get worse as time goes on also. The Catholic Church, and all churches for that matter, have shown more and more willingness to leave the true teaching of scripture for the easier and more “PC” version of religion. Unless those who desire salvation put their faith in Christ alone they will get pulled down with all of the organized religions.
