Part of the problem is people have replaced children with animals, and personified their pets as people to fill the void of parenthood.
yes, and some put pets before their children.
Either way the animal worshippers are disturbing.

I admit to having dogs & consider family.
However, the 9 dogs I have had since 1966 have all been very friendly. One old friend once said: “When I am reincarnated-—I want to come back as one of YOUR dogs”.
