That post was days ago. Obsess much?
Well I just read it. Now you gonna answer it or waste somebody’s time.
Wearing a nun costume does not make one a nun.
Why don't you tell us?
Anyway, thanks for bumping this great story.
Lyrically, the song would be a forgettable love song, but it takes on a greater meaning when sung by a nun. It's a great method of evangelization, since people will think of that meaning when they hear the song on the radio.
"No One"This story made my month. Thanks, Sister Scuccia!I just want you close
Where you can stay forever
You can be sure
That it will only get betterYou and me together
Through the days and nights
I don't worry 'cause
Everything's going to be alright
People keep talking they can say what they like
But all I know is everything's going to be alrightNo one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you
Can get in the way of what I feel for you
When the rain is pouring down
And my heart is hurting
You will always be around
This I know for certainYou and me together
Through the days and nights
I don't worry 'cause
Everything's going to be alright
People keep talking they can say what they like
But all I know is everything's going to be alrightNo one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you
Can get in the way of what I feelI know some people search the world
To find something like what we have
I know people will try, try to divide, something so real
So till the end of time I'm telling you there ain't no oneNo one, no one
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh [x2]
My vision of nuns was shattered in the mid 70’s when some buddies and myself crashed the catholic school one Saturday morning to skateboard in the halls.
One of the outside halls overlooked the walled convent where we witnessed a half dozen polar bears sunbathing in bikinis. I’ve been traumatized ever since.
Never thought I would live to see the day that someone was jealous of a nun, of all people, singing. Did you skip today’s medication?
She's a "nun" the same way Catholics who practice pharmaceutical birth control are "Catholic."
I bet you're one of those.
She’s a Catholic nun with a hell of a singing voice.
So you’re telling me you’re not one of her 36 million hits on YouTube in a just a few days. I’m shocked, shocked. Lighten up before you have a stoke.
What exactly distinguishes them from other starlet wannabes?
I didn’t/don’t watch the show (Here or There) but for those that are ‘condemning’ the Present Day “Singing Nun” would have had kittens over Sally Field and the “Flying Nun”.
Of course I am waiting to hear hits from the “Singing Imam” and watch a TV show called “The Flying Imam”.....
I have probably just been ‘condemned’ for putting such thought on ‘paper’....
So Sue Me....
