The point being that we don’t recognize it yet, I couldn’t say. However, the Lord says He doesn’t do anything without revealing it to His servants the prophets.

My sense is that every other world superpower has attracted His attention, as in ‘He sets up Kings and deposes them”. That would make me wonder about this Anglo/American system that has pretty well dominated the world the last 300 or so years.

With American Christians constantly asking, “Where is the USA in prophecy? ... it demonstrates a lot of presumptuousness more than anything else.

Take a list of all the countries in the world, from the United Nations membership list for example — and check off each country that you find mentioned directly in the Bible, in relation to these events. Then calculate the percentage mentioned versus the percentage not mentioned. After that, ask “WHY” the USA has to be in the “mentioned” category?

Why are the majority of other nations not mentioned in the Bible? It’s basically because they don’t have any direct relevance or involvement in those events mentioned in the Bible.
