Nope....the only identified "church" were the Christians....not catholics, Baptists, Methodists, etc.

nope, the followers of Crist, whiule certainly Christians, were referred to as Catholic as early as the year 100. For the first 1,500 years of Christianity, the christians were referred to as Catholic....they had Vatican councils in the 200's and 300's.
