good someone needs to stand up for the right
Never thought I’d see the “Irish” beers pull out of a St. Paddy celebration to support queers. Someone must have something big on the CEO’s.
Those “beer” companies are no more Irish than I am.
They’re all big corporations, led by corporate no-nothings who think that the trendy will buy their products if they kow-tow to the homosexuals. We saw exactly the same thing over Phil Robertson and Duck Dynasty, and before that Chik-Fil-A. The bottom line is they have absolutely no clue on their own market.
It is one thing to be opposed to discrimination, but not letting queers ruin your traditional parade and holiday is NOT discrimination. Pulling your support of a time-honored traditional parade is.
These companies have it bass-ackwards.
I’m in!
I also heard mayor DeBallsio is not marching either. No great loss there.
Phil Robertson himself is the real deal. Did you mean Cracker Barrel?
Alaskan Amber.
Maybe Bass Ale will jump into the gay fray.
Didn’t the duck dynasty thing break right before Christmas and a month before the start of a new dd season? So the merch flew off the shelves as people tried to show solidarity or something and the season opened to record ratings. I wouldn’t be shocked to see another member of the Robertson family suspended right before Christmas nest year.
FReegards
Next year even. Although nest year might make sense for dd.
Freegards
Their CEOs are almost certainly high ed graduates, well indoctrinated.
Ducks and chickens have more backbone than they do, huh.
It’s a demoralized America today that has forgotten why it became great and that was the gospel. The gospel is why Chik-Fil-A and Duck Dynasty have done so well.
People don’t care that God cares? Well when they don’t, God does not vanish. But they forget that God is jealous. He is angry at people who refuse to reconcile. Forget about hell OFF earth for a moment; they will go to hell ON earth. And “gay” is part of hell on earth. Don’t buy it for a moment that these folks are happy. They are miserable. And yet they insist most emphatically on continuing in their misery.
No, I meant the pressure put on A&E Network who banned Phil for his remarks on the Bible and homosexual acts, and then “unbanned” him a few weeks latter, because half the country let them know they were WRONG. We need to put the same or equal pressure on these beer companies for the SAME reason. They are WRONG.
As I said, not letting a political activist group join your traditional ethnic parade is hardly discrimination. Gays could always march in a St Patrick parade as Irishmen or friends of the Irish, but the parade is decidedly NOT a homosexual advocacy march or anti-homosexual in any way.
When these companies decided NOT to support the parade, they wound up NOT opposing discrimination, but enabling it. They need to be taught that the public is really, really weary of this gay gestapos fraud masquerading as some form of civil rights.
The gays can have a separate pro-gay parade anytime they want to—and they do, but it is not the same thing as a St Patrick day parade.
Thank you for this post. I fired off my emails to Guinness and Sam Adams. I’ll miss them. I have to find a new beer since Guinness was my favorite. I hope Murphy’s Irish Stout is not part of this boycott. That would be my next choice.
These beer companies should have asked JC Penney how embracing, promoting and celebrating the homo lifestyle worked out for them before they decided to side with sodomites and insult/disgust a large portion of America’s beer drinking population. I haven’t set foot in a JCP store since they started that mess (Ellen Degenerate, same sex parents in ads) .... neither has the family and last I heard, JCP wasn’t doing all that well (and I don’t think it’s all due to a ‘bad economy’ and poor marketing strategies).
Looks like a lot more microbrews will be on the beer list at our house from now on.
Well at least Patrick Fitzgerald and Gerald Fitzpatrick can continue to drink Guinness in good conscience.
We ought to not only boycott those brands, but any bar, restaurant or supermarket that sells those brands.
They can take their dishonest, divisional, divisive diversity elsewhere. That's not welcome in my home:
No gay person has ever been barred from marching in any St. Patricks Day parade, anymore than the parade bans pro-life Catholics or vegetarian Catholics; they simply cannot march under their own banner.
The parade has one cause: honoring St. Patrick. Those who disagree do not have to marchthats what diversity is all about.
Why is it that EVERY one of these Damn Parades has to be an advertisement for the GLORIES OF HOMOSEXUALITY??The Enviro-Wackos are telling us that the weather isn’t”Normal”!What is “Normal”??Is HomoSexuality Normal????If so,why are there so many people????????????????????????????????
