CB, this site you've encouraged mom to include in her list, is Jewish. Therefor against anyone or anything they consider to be "the Messianic belief". You should find out what they think about you and your beliefs!
There information is dated (i.e., Rood's Way International affiliation days, pre 2000 IIRC). Many people were suckered into this movement, included the hostess of the .ca website in your source list. Michael excoriates TWI in his *Michael Rood Exposed* video. I took the liberty to start it for you at exactly were Michael begins to describe how he became involved: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiKSmq42n7o&feature=player_detailpage#t=2466. I'd suggest you both owe it to the man and yourselves, after you've both saddled him with, to at least hear what he has to say about it - don't you?
One last thing in relation to this newest link of yours, that may or may not interest the both of you (depending upon your level of honesty), is this comment found at the link above you've found: "Unlike Judah, Rood has not claimed the position of Prophet but routinely sets dates which do not come to pass."
Metmom, I intended to ping you on #52 as well.
So Rood just lies to dupe the rubes who follow him. Whats surprising about that?
The site was Heart of Israel. Here is from their STATEMENTS OF FAITH page.
YESHUA, THE MESSIAH - We believe in the deity of Yeshua HaMashiach (John 1:1-18), and his virgin birth (Is. 9:6; Is 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25), in his sinless life (Is. 53; 2 Cor. 5:21; Lk. 1:35), in his miracles (Matt. 4:23-25), in his vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood (Is 53; Dan. 9:24-27; Rom. 3:21-31; Heb. 9&10), in his bodily resurrection (Zech. 12:10 & ch. 14; Matt. 28), in his ascension to the right hand of the Father (Ps. 16:10 & ch. 110; Acts 1:1-11; Heb. 1:1-3), and in his personal and physical return in power and glory (Dan. 7:9-14; Matt. 26:57-64; Rev. 1:1-18). We believe that Yeshua is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through him (John 6:29, 40, 44; 14:6; 1 John 5:11-12).
Perhaps you should investigate before you make untrue statements about them.
