The story of Queen Esther is one of my favorites.
I recently watched a movie about Esther. It was a small budget movie and I am sure not exactly historically accurate, more of a historical novel.
The story does make a good tale tho.
Watched a production of *The Book of Ester* on Netflix last night. Wasn’t that bad, even tho it was low budget. The story makes for an excellent and inspirational movie. Deserves serious consideration by a big time movie company, IMO.

Yes it does have all the elements for a great story. A well done movie could be a hit if done right. The fact that the King is the famous Xerxes only adds to the interest.

Yeah, “300” was entertaining but historical nonsense.
Jesus had a love story?
Nope
It’s a metaphor.
The account has many layers; one layer is the world of today coming together in an attempt to destroy the Almighty's people again.
There is also a personal layer and moral of the story.
A great description of present day "Follywood".
