The makers of Sam Adams and Heineken beer say they are withdrawing their sponsorship of St. Patrick's Day parades because organizers exclude gay groups.
Boston Beer Co., Sam Adam's brewer, said in a statement Friday that it is disappointed that an agreement couldn't be reached between the gay rights advocacy group MassEquality and Boston parade organizers that would have allowed gay veterans to march.
Meanwhile, Heineken USA said it was withdrawing from the New York City parade, and told CNBC on Friday: "We believe in equality for all. We are no longer a sponsor of Monday's parade."
The decisions came a day after a bar in Boston's South End said it would no longer serve Sam Adams beer because of the brewer's affiliation with the parade, which is scheduled for Sunday.

Amongst other things. ;-)
Heineken tastes like skunk spray to me. Not that I know what skunk spray tastes like.
Never liked Sam Adams, Heineken is too expensive, good bye, I won’t miss them. The one question that is never asked of homosexuals: is it moral, and if yes, why?
So would people be pleased with Guiness? Maybe that’s what should be drunk on St. Paddy’s day anyway, that or those other Irish brews. Guiness use to advertise it was “good for you”.
Brewed by Benedictine monks.
Oh, and as an added bonus for you: they only celebrate the liturgy in the Extraordinary Form.
I’m partial to Irish Mist...NOTHING smoother.
Beer head.
I cant in good conscience give up Heineken for Lent because I dont like the beer.
What the Gay mafia and the Liberal Left seems to forget about Liberty is the right of Free Association. That is that every individual citizen in this country is free to choose who to be friends with, who to go to church with and who to politically associate with.
In that Free Association they can also choose who not to associate with; that means who to exclude.
The St Patricks Day parade is about being Irish and Catholic both of which at one time in this country were about as discriminated against as homosexuals were 70 years ago and it was a lot easier to tell who was Irish or Catholic.
So if the Gays want to be in the parade their march or their float should deal with being Irish and Catholic and have no reference to homosexuality because homosexuality is incompatible with Catholicism.
But of course that is exactly why they wish to march in the parade as homosexuals, they want to do so as a victory over Catholicism.
Of course the organizers should cancel the parade before bowing to the gay mafia.
***St. Patrick was a Catholic saint, was he not?***
Nor was he IRISH! From what I read, he was a SCOTTSMAN of ROMAN ancestry.
Needless to say, my mom’s family is named Gilpatrick!
LOL!!
Exactly.... with endless numbers of beers on the market why would I spend money on these two?
Its all about the rainbows with the gays.
Do the Irish demand to march during Indian tribe festivals? no. why cant we all be like switzerland with respect of culture in each cultural cantons.
No, everything has to have gays in it. this is such utter bullsht. Even muslims do not boycott the Amish.
homos are only cheated by homos, that is the truth of this peculiar form of liberal pride mental disease.
Butt Bubbles?
Excellent! Thanks for the tip.
My daughter is supposed to be staying the night in Norcia on the way down to JPII’s canonization next month. I told her to pick me up a couple of bottles and bring them back with her when she comes home on summer break.
So hopefully, if she remembers (and doesn’t drink it herself), I may be able to give you a review this summer :)
So we have to read “Heineken” as “Hiney Ken” now?
Not as good as Bushmill’s Black Bush, or their single malts!
