I don’t get it. If it did, it would be Christianity, not Buddhism. There are Buddhist myths that have been around for longer than Christianity with hundreds of millions of people believing and following them to this day.

Not by saying: “A myth can’t survive 2,000 years.” That’s a general statement that is easily disproven. Ancient Egypt, for example, had their gods and mythology for thousands of years as well.
Perhaps you could present the historical claims for Buddhism. You have not presented evidence against the Gospels but your personal assertions. Assertions are not arguments.
