She's a health and wealther, worked for her, she's wealthy.

Never understood why to get a big payout from God, Christians have to send money to the TV preachers instead of their local church.

On the plus side Joyce Meyer Ministries joined the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability in 2009, which requires financial transparency from its members.

“Joyce Meyer is best known as a Christian speaker and author with a net worth estimated to be around $25 Million. In 2005, she ranked #17 on the list of “25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America” by TIME Magazine. In 2003, she and her husband started a television ministry which still airs today, Enjoying Everyday Life.

Pauline Joyce Hutchison as born on June 4, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.. She is currently married to Dave Meyer, with whom she has four children. The couple is currently based outside of St. Louis, Missouri. She and her husband were often involved in controversies pertaining to their excessive and extravagant lifestyle. In addition to several homes which she owns, Meyer reportedly travels via private jet. She responded to the allegations by saying that she doesn’t have to apologize to anyone about her being blessed.”

I used to get up early every morning to listen to her. I’m actually shocked that there is controversy about her, because what she says comes from the heart and doesn’t sound like Joel Osteen “pie in the sky, and moonbeams” but the mention of Jesus Christ.

I bought some of her audio tapes, but stopped listening to them, when someone else was doing the reading not her.

Her advice to people, esp young couples, regarding the three tenants of wealth are very very accurate, and I’ve seen this time and again working in my life when I abide by it.

In essence she says, that God gives us wealth when we are young enough to appreciate it, to see what we do with it. If we are good custodians, He gives you more. Therefore,

when you are given money you should

1. Tithe some
2. Save some
3. Only then spend some

The opposite of this is where God gives you money and you squander it, and you go into debt and deeper debt, and deeper yet...

The idea of a “cheerful giver” is true, and the more you give the more you receive is so very true, at least in my life and in family members who ascribe to this.

The opposite is when you see people who have what appears to be everything, boats, cars, big homes etc...but in reality they are so far into debt that they are actually poor.

Apply that to our country...and it makes you squirm. We have no business borrowing and borrowing and squandering the riches God has given to us Americans.

Anyway, I would suggest you personally listen to her message and decide for yourself, as I found her words very comforting.
