In reality, it does not.

The mother’s decision is what matters, because it and solely it determines the outcome.

So seeing as that you cannot change existing law, it appears that the only viable course of action is to affect that decision.

In legal terms in America 2014, the baby’s right to life does not, in fact, trump the mother’s decision.

That is reality. What is occurring in this thread is people engaging in fantasy.

The 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized a woman’s right to murder the baby she was carrying was the biggest judicial reach in the history of Supreme Court. There is no right to murder in the Constitution. From the moment of conception the mother is carrying another human being in her womb, awaiting for the birth of that person.

We are talking about two people from the moment of conception. A real breathing person. It is not a “thing” that the woman can murder at will. When Roe w. Wade is finally overturned, and it will be because most people now realize abortion is murdering another person, it will also include abortions of any types and yes that includes rape and incest.

If you want to murder someone if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, kill the SOB that brutalized her and got her pregnant, not the innocent child that had nothing to do with the way she/he came into this world.

A nation that murders it’s own is not fit to be called a nation.

It took a longer time for William Wilberforce, as a member of Parliament, to achieve abolition of slavery in the British Empire by legislation than it has taken pro-lifers to overturn your cherished evil of Roe vs. Wade but overturn it we will.

Under Roe vs. Wade, the mother is legally, but never morally, allowed to effect the murder of her own unborn child with the willing connivance of the murderer who is the abortionist. What are you personally doing to thwart such decisions by those mothers and to thwart the "business" of the abortionists in trading in death of the babies for money?

I didn't think so.

During the Tate-LaBianca murders, according to what passes for your logic, it was Charles Manson's decisions that determined that Sharon Tate and the Folger Coffee heiress and the LaBiancas and others must die and that no other laws or decisions matter. That is what you are applauding when you raise the aborting mother's decisions to the level of absolute supremacy.

Also consider that abortion would be a LOT less available if we stripped the "doctors" of their licenses and put them in jail where they belong. That was the traditional solution to abortion.

This nation needs to replace enough pro-abort SCOTUS justices (including Sandra Day O'Kennedy) with enough committed and bulletproof pro-life SCOTUS justices to overturn the infamous Roe vs. Wade decision once and for all. Then the "rule of law" and "stare decisis" will take care of and eliminate the legal protection of baby murders.

Will there still be abortions? Of course, there will be "back alley" abortions, some by qualified surgeons and some not. The numbers of abortions will bne drastically slashed. The tactics used by Operation Rescue to identify the killing days at abortion mills will then be employed by pro-lifers to root out the outlaw abortionists and see that they are arrested and prosecuted. "Licensed" doctors can be stripped of their licenses without jury trials.
