I don't know how their priest would have known they were active homosexual unless they had confessed it. That's why they get "busted" upon publication in the newspaper, or attempted marriage: because these are public acts.

Lots of women live together without being lesbians. Men live together without being sodomites. In my parish, there are a number of both young single women and older widow women who are housemates.

They probably bragged about it. It was probably just a set-up to get their names in the media. The dykes know the rules.

Who knows at this point. I can think of several variables that caused this 'story' to be given a specific bias. First would be the reporter. I cannot imagine an interview with only what was written was all that was learned.

But the sure implication is that nobody, specifically the priest, had a problem with them until the mother died, and then 'we' were persecuted. And it sure is apparent, since a 'press release' was given that the Priest was not hunting publicity until he was publicly asked.

These gals sure make it sound like their 'lesbian' relationship, was common knowledge, given they say they were partners for 20 years. I am guessing 'partners' is something different than merely a financial arrangement.
