The mayor - Ed Murray - is openly married to a man. There was a picture of them on the front page of the local newspaper. I consider that to be an active homosexual relationship. You don't?

As for your other point, I am well aware that there are several styles of gayness. Some are stereotypical, some are not. My comment about the pastor was prompted by many years of observing what has been going on at the cathedral, including administration of communion to known practicing homosexuals. My comment that "he looks the part" was an unfortunate oversimplification of my observations. The recent events at nearby Eastside Catholic High School have done nothing but confirm my impression of widespread gay infiltration into church organizations in the Seattle area.

Clarification - instead of "looks the part" I probably should have said "plays the part." His looks are just part of the whole dynamic, and that is why I made the unfortunate oversimplification.

The Seattle Catholic cathedral has been very gay friendly for a long time, and "gay friendly" means tolerating gay practices, not just orientation. Guess what - I have an inborn inclination to promiscuity with women - does that mean - as gays claim for themselves - that our natural inclinations justify our behavior, and that I can therefore have sex with any woman I want?
