I worked in the arts for decades, where about 40% of the people you worked with every day were gay. I got to know many very well, and listened to them talk about their lives. Although I did not argue with them about it, and simply remained a tolerant friend and co-worker, I came to understand and disagree with the "born that way" theory through hearing their stories and getting to know their parents and siblings.
Yeah — interesting — I am not saying all were born that way. But that was certainly the opinion of the few gays I have personally known. I think sexual preferences are generally pretty well hard coded. Any normal red blooded male will react in disgust at what these perverts enjoy. Somehow they are messed up and need God’s healing.
If there were a born that way gene, it would be known by now.
