Salvation is in CHRIST, not Catholicism.

Why do you accept Christ as Savior, but reject His commands?

Jesus said, "if he will not listen to the church, treat him as a pagan or tax collector."

Why won't you listen to His church? Don't you trust Jesus? Don't you trust the Bible, which calls His church, "the pillar and foundation of truth?"

It seems that you put a lot of trust in Martin Luther, who isn't mentioned in the Bible, nor is his doctrine of "the Bible alone."

While your Church is mentioned in the bible, we are warned to come out of it and stay away from it...

Show me where that specifies the CATHOLIC church.

Show me where the church is given authority to damn someone.

Treating them as a pagan does NOT affect their salvation nor is it the church making a determination of the person's salvation. It simply describes how that person is to be treated on a human level.

It is not blanket authority given to the church to operate as they see fit.

Well, there's a brash assumption if I ever saw one. I don't give a rip what Luther has to say, and I've said that before on the open forum.

I put my trust in NO man or no organization.
