I would recommend they not reenlist. I would refuse to serve under a marxist anti-Christian like Obama. No way I would last 30 minutes in today’s military. I am a retired Air Force Senior NCO. It saddens me what he has done to our military. God keep your son safe.

Sorry if my sentence structure gave you the impression that I think our enlisted or officer servicepeople are commies -- certainly not.

The CommieCare I'm referring to is the government's overweening intrusion into the medical care of our wounded along with this Admin's desire to micromanage the health of all Americans. We saw government health care up close when we volunteered at the old WR. The medical care was outstanding; but the administration, red tape, and access to care was controlled by gubmit employees, and that was where the trouble lay. If it was 5 o'clock on a Friday night and a soldier with a painful amputation wanted to be seen, being seen by a doctor all depended on who was the care administrator, and if he or she wanted to go home right on time. Now that the new gubmit care is going to ration care, unionize all medical caregivers and deny access even further, God help our wounded.

We had two restrictions on cards at the old Walter Reed -- no anti-war messages, and no glitter that could fall into a wound. Imagine not letting the Christian soldiers receive holy day greetings -- do you think for one moment the Pentagon would prevent muslim soldiers from receiving Eid cards?

The Pentagon (Pentangle?) already tried to prevent people from bringing Bibles into the new Walter Reed medical center at Bethesda. The outcry was enormous. This is just another attempt to demoralize our military, which I would estimate is more than 90% Christians. This appears to be more of the handiwork of the vile Christophobe Mikey Weinstein:

What you describe sounds like it would have brought cheer to the wounded vets at a time when they would be the most demoralized: being away from family at Christmas. What they experienced this year seems to have been terribly depressing. It's shameful that the top brass hasn't told Obama and Hagel to take a hike and allow the vets to have some joy at this special time of year. Yes, it probably would be a career ender to do that, but aren't some things more important than another star?
