A&E has caved and Phil Robertson will remain on Duck Dynasty:

That is why we reacted so quickly and strongly to a recent interview with Phil Robertson. While Phil’s comments made in the interview reflect his personal views based on his own beliefs, and his own personal journey, he and his family have publicly stated they regret the “coarse language” he used and the mis-interpretation of his core beliefs based only on the article. He also made it clear he would “never incite or encourage hate.” We at A+E Networks expressed our disappointment with his statements in the article, and reiterate that they are not views we hold.

No, coarse language would have been his using the word “a$$holes” in place of anuses (or should that be ani?).
I just read another article about Chick-fil-A. The average year-over-year sales increased 4.9% for the largest 500 companies, while Chick-fil-A saw 14.1%. The homosexuals lost two wars.
The Homo’s have been running amuck and people have been putting up with it . It’s time they were settled down a bit.

There will be dozens and dozens of K-12 kids that will be reprimanded or disciplined in some way for wearing “Duck Dynasty” T-shirts etc, when they return to school.

Until they publicly apologize, there is no A&E in my home.

I agree. Calling for a truce and claiming “no harm no foul” is BS. Robertson should demand a meaningful apology, completely devoid of any cheap shots at him or his beliefs, before returning.
Is what you are saying a matter of "messaging" ?
"I'm for clean water", and by default, their opponent is against it ?
And their opponent is put on the defensive?
So, if Republicans say, "I'm for the privacy of individuals" as opposed to saying "I'm against the NSA's spying", they will attract more voters ?
