No charts needed with understanding of scripture. I just have one question to determine where you are coming from. Do you believe that Israel as a nation will once again be dealt with for a period of time as they were prior to the birth of Christ.
If you mean to ask am I a dispensationalist, the answer is an emphatic no. If you mean do I think the term "elect" in Matthew 24 refers to the Jews and not Christians, the answer is again no.
Do I think the Tribulation is about Israel, no. You find a lot more mention of the saints than of Israel in Revelation, especially:
Rev 12:14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpents reach.
...
17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspringthose who keep Gods commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.
followed up with
Rev 13:8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beastall whose names have not been written in the Lambs book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.
9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.
10 If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of Gods people.
These verses suggest no one will be saved during the Tribulation, and the saints (Lamb's book of life) will be persecuted.
BTW, my favorite pre-trib invention is the 144,000 greatest missionaries of all time, and the great revival they bring about. Never found anything remotely close to that in scripture, but it must be maintained to explain the multitudes that are saved after the pre-trib rapture.
