Nonsense. And that is a slanderous accusation for you to hurl at others simply because they legitimately hold a different view than yours. Is this your idea of persuasive apologetics?
The issue is really quite simple. Imputing thoughts to the Mother of God that contradict previous teachings (even if those speculations happen to be preceded by the word "perhaps") is inappropriate at best, whether or not such speculations are in support of a broader point.
I see you've begun an entirely new thread on this topic, which seemed to already have been exhausted on this one. I'm beginning to suspect that you just enjoy arguing.
Posting repeatedly an incomplete quote of the antecedent while pretending that the consequent does not exist (see 265 just above) is indeed intellectual dishonesty. Do you know what "slander" means?

It's none of your business what I enjoy or detest.
No it was to make a point of referring to *THIS* thread and calling us Catholics “in quotes”. Then he plays dumb by saying he just doesn’t follow why I responded the way I did in that thread. Uh-huh.
It’s funny how despite the fact that the three of us have very different opinions on this matter, we didn’t once call his “Catholic-ness” into question.
Yes, let the “gentle readers judge for themselves”, indeed.
