By promoting (although perhaps inadvertently) a reductionist representation of the virtues of the Mother of God? I don't think so, any more than I believe that the Church should soft-peddle for public consumption Her teachings on abortion and other evils.

It’s a terrible sign when Protestants agree with a pope’s teaching of the Blessed Mother.
