1. Jesus claimed to be God. That’s why the Jews crucified him... So... He was just another lunatic nutjob cult figure, or He was AND IS Who He claimed to be.
2. The Deity of Jesus is proclaimed throughout scripture without a doubt. As a matter of fact, the bible proclaims this particular doctrine as THE KEY to testing whether someone is aligned with the Holy Spirit or with the Anti-Christ. Jesus said Himself you are either for me or against me. Rejection of Jesus as God places you AGAINST Him.

I thought it was the Romans who crucified him. He was a Pharisee all his adult life hence the title “rabbi”.
