they were one and the same because they have the same spirit You must have missed the scriptural verse:
Luk 8:39 "Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you." And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.
There was never any question Christ declared Himself to be one with the Father. It wasn't that they had the same spirit. They were the same. And Luke seemed to think so as well.
