All that you say here is true, I guess I was just pointing out that it’s strange that there is all this coverage of a cable TV reality show as opposed to two whole state governments officially accepting ‘gay marriage,’ despite one of them having an actual constitutional amendment in place. Within days or even hours of each other.

I agree with your concern on the matters at hand. On the one we have the gay agenda, by judicial fiat advancing in the here an now. On the other a reality backwoods Christian outdoorsman representing a TV program. With the bearded man gaining all the news and attention. Fully see your point and concerns.

On the flip side, I think the DD event woke up many who were asleep, were passive or did not care what gay people did as long as it did not rock their ‘world.’ That is at issue here. Some who thought “live and let live” was living a tolerant Christian life are now realizing the gay agenda was never about equality and tolerance, but acceptance and dominance of their leftist worldviews. And with forced acceptance comes silencing of opposing views. When silence is broken, as with Phil, then the consequences of not accepting the leftist worldviews. We are seeing that in action now.

For what it’s worth in the past 48 hours I have seen Prots and Roman Catholics more unified for the cause of morality than I have seen in many years. All because a repentant hippie backwoods outdoorsman stood his ground in defending God’s Word.

Perhaps we should all see the advantages offered us and more importantly, what our Lord may be telling us.
